3D Mesh Sketch of Decorative Motifs on Caddo Pottery

Our efforts to digitize (in 3D) the decorative motifs on Caddo ceramics were recently featured in the magazine Early American Life. We thank the editorial staff for reaching out and making this possible, and hope that you enjoy the piece (click image to enlarge)!

This week we’re at the Geomagic office in Denver, Colorado learning more new ways to put our 3D data to good use in documentation and analytical endeavors. Even though it’s only the first day, we’ve already learned a lot. Looking forward to getting back in the lab and putting this new knowledge to work.
